Conditions remedied with ESAs

An ESA can provide a calming presence during episodes of heightened anxiety, reducing physical symptoms like rapid heart rate and aiding relaxation.

The consistent companionship of an ESA can alleviate feelings of loneliness and provide motivation to engage in daily activities.

ESAs can provide grounding and a sense of safety for individuals dealing with trauma-related symptoms, such as flashbacks or hypervigilance.

The companionship of an ESA can help reduce stress and anxiety associated with obsessive thoughts or compulsive behaviors.

Follow-Up Requirements for Renewing ESA Registration

To ensure ongoing eligibility for your Emotional Support Animal (ESA) and compliance with
federal guidelines, follow-up appointments are required:

  • For Patients Prescribed Medication by a Provider:
A minimum of 4 appointments within a one-year period is required.

Legal Protections and Compliance

Our ESA letters comply with federal laws, including the Fair Housing Act (FHA), which protects your right to have an ESA in housing situations that might otherwise prohibit pets.
